Here's what's making me happy this week (in no particular order):
- I finally acquired an infinity scarf! I've been wanting one for about a year and a half, and when I saw this fun print at Target, I just knew that I had to have it. I love it - it's so colorful and so soft! Definitely adds a fun bit of pop to whatever I'm wearing.
- I went to visit one of my favorite series of photos today - "The Brown Sisters" by Nicholas Nixon. Nixon took a photograph of these four women every year for twenty or so years. It's a wonderful, compelling exhibit and it reminds me why I love photography so much.
- I found a recipe for some delicious white-bean-and-spinach tacos that I made a few days ago and have been slowly working my way through the leftovers... So good, so simple, and visually appealing to boot! What more could you ask for in a food?
- My beautiful, wonderful, and talented best friend/little had her artwork exhibited for the first time in the art school's gallery! I went to the opening on Monday to support her and was so proud to see her work on the wall. This girl's got an incredible ability with a paintbrush.
- My banana blanket. The temperatures have dropped pretty substantially here lately, so this magnificent yellow sheaf of fuzz has been keeping me toasty. It's brilliant.
