Here are the things that are making me happy this week (in no particular order):
- My chapter initiated 44 new members this past Sunday - it was so exciting to see all of our little "babies" become official and I feel so proud of how far our chapter has come with the official initiation of the pledge class of 2013! :)
- I love pumpkin season. And this stuff? It's just incredible. It smells like pumpkin-infused dreams, and it makes your skin SO SOFT. It's sad, but I am truly considering buying about three or four more things of it next time I go to Trader Joe's so I can have a delectable pumpkin-scented surplus of the stuff, even after pumpkin season is over...
- These wonderful treats came to me as a surprise from my best friends - and sisters - yesterday after I had a stress-related bawl session. They showed up in my room with a plastic bag and started pulling all these goodies out, and I lost it. I feel so incredibly lucky to have such loving people in my life.
- Tonight was TCU's Homecoming Parade! I got to ride on a float that my sisters and I helped pomp, and it was a lot of fun going through the streets of our campus, waving at all the families (especially those with little kids!) that showed up to watch the parade. We play KU tomorrow, but I probably won't be attending because of the sheer amount of work I've got to get done...
- These are those aforementioned best friends - and sisters - from the third point. Kylie and Liz. They make me so incredibly happy and because of them, I know that I am loved. Words can't describe how amazed I am that I got lucky enough to have people like them in my life! (Also, today was our philanthropy-related day for AOII, so we matched in our cute little v-necks, yay!)
