Anyway, here are the top five things making me happy this week (in no particular order):
- My lovely sister, Liz, has allowed me to borrow her bike this semester so that I may have a convenient mode of transport to class. I can't even begin to rave about how incredible having a bike is! I love the feeling of riding it through neighborhoods, and it's definitely going to be a good thing for my thigh and leg muscles!
- My sisters, as always. I feel like I write about my sorority sisters at least once in a "Things for Happiness" post, but they are a constant source of happiness and smiles. This afternoon, we met up for dinner at Fuzzy's Tacos, and it was so nice to just sit, talk, and eat tasty Mexican food.
- Last night, some of my favorite men on campus - the Beta boys - threw a party. I attended with a giant group of sisters and had a complete blast! Lots of great fun, good laughs, and fun memories were made. It was a shame that it didn't last longer.
- One of my roommates is an incredible cook. She's a total "foodie," so whenever she bakes anything, I am very happy. Today, she made snickerdoodles, and of course they were amazing. I love and hate having her around, because while she makes incredible food, I also worry that said incredible food will begin to collect around my belly very very soon...
- This butternut quinoa salad from Trader Joe's is absolutely lovely. Fresh, nutty, and a little bit sweet - a perfect combination for happy tastebuds!
